Ingredients

– 2 round bread rolls (tombik ekmek) – 300g beef or chicken doner meat (thinly sliced) – 1 tbsp olive oil – 1 tsp paprika – ½ tsp cumin – ½ tsp black pepper – ½ tsp salt – ½ tsp garlic powder – ½ onion (thinly sliced) – 1 tomato (sliced) – ¼ cup shredded lettuce – ¼ cup yogurt sauce or garlic sauce – ½ tsp sumac (optional) – Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

1. Prepare the Doner Meat: Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the sliced doner meat and season with paprika, cumin, black pepper, salt, and garlic powder. Stir well and cook for about 5-7 minutes until the meat is lightly crispy.

2. Toast the Bread: Cut the round bread rolls in half but do not separate them completely.Lightly toast them on a dry pan or in the oven for a few minutes until warm and slightly crispy.
