Ingredients

– 2 pita breads (whole wheat or regular) – 1 cup hummus (store-bought or homemade) – ½ cucumber, thinly sliced – ½ cup cherry tomatoes, halved – ½ red bell pepper, sliced – ¼ red onion, thinly sliced – ½ cup lettuce or spinach – 1 tbsp olive oil – 1 tsp lemon juice – ½ tsp za’atar (optional) – Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Warm the pita bread in a dry pan for about 1-2 minutes on each side until soft and slightly toasted. 2. Cut the pita in half to form pockets or leave it whole and fold it like a wrap. 3.
